Application period open from June 15th, 2019 to August 1st, 2019
Our Community Giving Grant encourages relationships with organizations within the community that positively impacts our customers. If you are a State of Florida-registered charitable organization located within the Lakeland Electric territory, serving the public within the territory, please consider submitting an application for our consideration for the Fiscal Year 2020.
Each year we receive far more requests for sponsorships than our dollars will allow. We will be limiting the amount of funding granted to each organization to $1,000.00. To assist us with our decision making and ensuring we maximize our outreach to the community, we ask that each organization that is interested in being considered for Community Giving Grant funds prepare and submit an application for review.
The application timeline for the Fiscal Year 2020 Community Giving Grant is as follows:
- Lakeland Electric begins accepting applications June 15th, 2019
- The deadline for application submissions is August 1st, 2019
- Selected organizations are notified via mail during the last week of September 2019
- Funding is disbursed during October 2019
