Lakeland Electric's new cash payment program offers a safer and more convenient way to pay your bill in just three easy steps!
Step 1: Bring your bill to a participating store.
You can pay your bill at several local stores, including 7-Eleven, CVS Pharmacy, Dollar General, Family Dollar, Pilot Flying J, Speedway, TravelCenters of America, and Walgreens. Don't forget to bring your printed or electronic bill with you!
Step 2: Have the cashier scan your bill.
In the customer service area of the store, the cashier will scan the barcode found in the blue box on your Lakeland Electric or City of Lakeland Utilities bill. The location of the customer service desk will vary depending on the retail store. For instance, Walmart has a customer service desk, while pharmacies like CVS or Walgreens have photo counter cashiers, and gas stations have checkout counters.
Step 3: Pay your bill with cash.
