What is Pay-As-You-Go?
Pay-As-You-Go lets you pay for your electricity in advance, starting with as little as $25. Your balance goes down as you use power, and you can track everything in real time through your online account or mobile app. You’ll get low balance alerts via text, email, or phone—so there are no surprises.
There’s no deposit required, and no late or reconnect fees. It’s simple, flexible, and transparent.
Who Should Consider PAYG?
This program is ideal for two types of residential customers:
- Smart Savers – Want to reduce energy use and keep an eye on your spending? PAYG gives you daily insights so you can adjust habits and save money.
- Fresh Start Customers – Struggling with fees, disconnections, or high deposits? PAYG offers a way out of that cycle, including an option to pay off your past-due balance over six months through our Priority Debt Program.
If you’ve already paid a deposit, we’ll apply it toward your new PAYG account setup—no extra out-of-pocket costs to switch. It's a fresh start without a financial burden.
How to Get Started
- Pay a $50 setup fee (your deposit may cover this)
