Empowering Our Community: Apply for the Lakeland Electric Community Giving Grant
Are you part of a non-profit organization in Florida focused on serving the public? If so, we invite you to apply for the Lakeland Electric Community Giving Grant Program. This initiative is designed to foster strong partnerships with local charities and support those who are dedicated to improving the lives of residents within the Lakeland Electric territory.
At Lakeland Electric, we understand the impact that charitable organizations have on our community. The Community Giving Grant Program is an essential opportunity for us to honor and assist those who are doing remarkable work. However, the selection process is competitive due to the high volume of requests we receive each year. This ensures that we can direct our support to those organizations making the most significant difference in our community.
Each eligible organization can apply for funding up to $1,000. Despite receiving numerous funding requests, our goal is to maximize our outreach and assist as many organizations as possible. Preparing and submitting an application is necessary to be considered for a grant.
Important Dates to Remember
The application timeline for the Fiscal Year 2026 Community Giving Grant is as follows:
- Application Period Opens: May 24, 2025
- Application Deadline: August 1, 2025
- Notification of Selected Organizations: The Last week of September 2025
- Funding Disbursement: October 2025
If your organization received a grant in the last fiscal year (October 1, 2024 - September 30, 2025), please ensure you download, complete, and return the Update Form when applying for a new grant.
